ActionNote
Last updated: July 14, 2026
ActionNote (“ActionNote,” “we,” “us”) turns your voice notes into organized summaries, tasks, and searchable notes. This policy explains what we collect, how it’s used, and the choices you have. We built ActionNote to keep your content on your own device and in your own iCloud — not on our servers.
Your notes are stored on your device and, if you enable iCloud, backed up to your personal iCloud account. We do not store your notes on our own servers.
To transcribe and organize your notes, ActionNote uses on-device speech recognition (Apple’s Speech framework) and Google’s Gemini AI models, which we access through secure Supabase Edge Functions. When you record a note or ask a question in “Ask Your Notes,” the relevant audio and/or note text is sent to Google’s Gemini API solely to generate your transcript, summary, tasks, and answers. This content is processed to provide the feature and is not used by us to build advertising profiles or sold to third parties.
We rely on a small number of trusted providers, each with its own privacy policy:
We do not sell your personal information.
Your notes remain available until you delete them. Archived notes may be auto-deleted based on the retention period you choose in Settings. You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete account, which removes your notes from this device and your iCloud and deletes your ActionNote authentication account.
ActionNote is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country), and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes are reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above.
